YOUR TASKS
- Responsibility for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-performance scanner solutions (e.g. Scamax, Opex, IBML)
- Ensuring stable and smooth operation of the scanning infrastructure
- Carrying out maintenance, fault analysis, and troubleshooting directly on site at the customer
- Connecting and integrating scanner solutions into existing IT systems, networks, and specialised applications
- Advising customers on optimal integration and further development of scanning processes
- Development, parameterisation, and continuous optimisation of scanning software and workflows
- Setting up and maintaining scanning profiles, output formats, and data mappings (e.g. XML)
- Performing software updates, patch management, and ongoing system maintenance
- Analysing and resolving faults throughout the scanning process and coordinating with manufacturers
- Conducting functional and integration tests and ensuring system quality
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation as well as system and inventory overviews
- Identifying and implementing optimisation potentials within the system landscape
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed training in IT (e.g. IT apprenticeship EFZ, IT Supporter) or degree in computer science/system technology (HF/FH) or equivalent
- Good knowledge of software development or scripting (e.g. .NET/C#, PowerShell, Python or VBScript)
- Experience with XML, SQL databases, as well as Windows environments and network technologies
- Initial experience in technical support or operation of hardware solutions, ideally in scanning or document environments
- Analytical thinking as well as structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
- High service orientation and enjoyment in working with customers and internal interfaces
- Flexibility and willingness to work within Switzerland (Category B driving licence required)
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
- Knowledge of DMS/ECM systems, imaging software (e.g. ABBYY) or workflow automation is an advantage
- A clean criminal record and debt collection register extract are required
