Substitute School Bus Driver (a) – Küsnacht Region (ZH)
You have a flair for the road and people and are looking for a part-time on-call job? Then we are looking for you to complement our school bus driver team.
Your tasks
- You are conscientiously responsible for the safe and punctual transportation of children during the school term (approximately 39 weeks/year).
- You assist passengers when boarding and alighting.
- You are responsible for the care and safety of passengers during the trips.
- You take care of the interior and exterior cleaning as well as minor maintenance work on the vehicle.
Your profile
- You are ready to be deployed on short notice (substitute driver on call).
- You have the following licenses (or are willing to obtain them by the start of employment, approx. 3 hours effort): Driver's license category B with code BPT 121/122 and D1 with CZV competency certificate (can be acquired internally) according to the Chauffeur Licensing Ordinance.
- You are open to encounters and show understanding for children and adolescents with special needs, their parents, and teachers.
- You are used to working independently and reliably.
- You remain calm even in stressful situations and enjoy contact with children.
- You keep calm and maintain an overview even in exceptional situations.
- You are flexible in your availability.
- You have good German skills (at least level B1) and understand Swiss German fluently.
