The Téléverbier Group offers its clients (1 million skier days/year) one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland with its 38 lifts and slopes at 3300m altitude. During the peak season, it employs nearly 500 staff members.
Assistant at Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge 40 to 60% (weekdays and weekends)
We are looking for a versatile employee for the Mont Fort Swiss Lodge to assist the manager.
Your tasks:
- Welcome customers daily and ensure check-in between 4 pm and 6 pm
- Manage billing as well as cash handling
- Organize and monitor the reservation schedule
- Prepare breakfast from 7:00 am and manage orders, respecting HACCP standards
- Ensure room cleaning and laundry management
- Advise and accompany guests throughout their stay
- Stock the Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge and Châble train station Sélecta vending machines
- Manage the Maison des Cheneaux during summer: welcome guests, explain kitchen operation, carry out entry and exit inventories
- Answer calls and customer requests, including occasionally after 6 pm
Your profile:
- Fluent in at least two languages (French and English); a third language is an asset
- Experience in hospitality and/or reception
- Good interpersonal skills and communication abilities
- Present a neat and professional appearance
- Flexible with working hours: possible continuous or split shifts (e.g. 7 am–11 am and 4 pm–6 pm), depending on reservation needs
- Able to occasionally respond to customer calls after 6 pm
- Available weekdays and weekends, with non-fixed days off
