We are looking for a committed person for our institute who enjoys working at the interface between university administration, scientific activity, and social services. As leadership support, you work closely with the institute management and the three team leaders, lead and shape processes in the administration of the institute such as resource planning and controlling in research and service projects as well as in continuing education. You support employees in the acquisition, implementation, and financial completion of projects and offers. You independently conduct research if necessary for the preparation or follow-up of team and management meetings and monitor project calls related to the institute's topics. You work closely with the department's staff units as well as the ZHAW and, if possible, take a seat on ZHAW committees. You form an important bridge between various stakeholders and the institute, answer and triage inquiries from the professional and scientific environment.
You have a completed university degree, preferably in social work, social or humanities sciences, economics, or administrative sciences. You bring several years of experience in university administration, project and science management, as well as in administrative processes and financial and resource management. Your pronounced organizational skills and experience in coordinating complex projects and processes distinguish you. You work independently, structured, and precisely and enjoy process-oriented tasks. As a central interface between various stakeholders in the department as well as in the professional and scientific community, you convince through communication skills and teamwork. Through your service orientation and solution-oriented working style, you contribute to a positive working atmosphere. You accompany new employees through the university processes and support them competently. In addition to experience and confidence in handling common office and management software, you have very good German skills in spoken and written form, optionally also French and English skills.
