The Walter Zoo in Gossau is a scientifically managed zoo that houses over 100 animal species and employs over 90 staff members. It captivates around 280,000 visitors each year with the animal world and fosters interest and understanding of their needs and the protection of their habitats. To strengthen our team, we are looking for someone immediately
Your tasks include responsibility for the smooth operation of all sales stands (Food and Non-Food) in the zoo, passing on information to sales staff and being the contact person for inquiries and
questions, supervising and controlling all sales stands, daily restocking of the sales stands in the morning, ensuring order and cleanliness in the sales and storage areas, actively participating in sales during peak hours and covering breaks, and evening cash register reconciliation.
What you bring: High social competence with the necessary assertiveness, a confident and friendly demeanor, experience in gastronomy or retail, organizational talent and networked thinking, openness to new things and enjoyment of varied activities, physical resilience and willingness to work outdoors in all weather, readiness for regular holiday and weekend shifts, reliability, teamwork ability, and time flexibility, driving license category B.
