Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities in cooperation with the municipal tax offices. We support individuals and businesses throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at our location in Zurich Altstetten.
The role of a legal employee or legal associate is very autonomous and diverse, and you make an important contribution to the state and the public.
The special service advocates for tax honesty by combating tax evasion. With your detective instincts, you help us uncover and penalize various forms of tax evasion. Your team and the network are happy to support you with their expertise. The start date is 01.10.2025 or by agreement.
Your area of responsibility:
- Conducting tax reassessment and penalty procedures for state and municipal taxes as well as direct federal tax: opening of procedures, determination of reassessment bases, collection of reassessments and penalties
- Representation of the municipalities, the state, and the federal government in objection, appeal, and complaint procedures
- Examination of revision and correction requests
- Reporting tax fraud cases and managing tax fraud procedures
- Advising assessment services in connection with reassessment procedures and tax criminal law
- Providing legal advice regarding reassessment and penalty procedures
- Participation in projects
Your profile:
- University degree in law (MLaw or lic. iur.)
- Initial legal professional experience in a comparable position
- Independent and responsible working style as well as high decision-making and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills and a solution- and customer-oriented demeanor
- Very good written and oral communication skills in German (language level C2)
