Is this helpful?
You are the driving force in business development and specifically identify business opportunities with medium and large Swiss companies. With your instinct for market potential and your existing network in specialist departments – ideally in the finance sector – you bring new leads into play and develop them independently. At the same time, you take responsibility for the creation and coordination of complex offers and support the further development of existing customer relationships as needed.
This is what you will achieve with us- Identification and approach of new customers: You analyze the market, identify target customers, and proactively reach out – via email, phone, or social selling.
- Network building and maintenance: You build a robust network in specialist departments, particularly in the finance areas of larger Swiss companies, and maintain it continuously.
- Initial conversations and needs analysis: You independently conduct initial conversations, understand the needs of potential customers, and qualify leads for further processing.
- Product sales and solution consulting: You market the digital solutions and services of Arcplace. This includes Invoice Automation, Digital Mailroom, Document Management, and Archiving, and you support customers in efficiently digitizing their business processes.
- Offer and tender management: You take responsibility for complex offer processes – from the request to the final offer – including coordination of all internal stakeholders and quality assurance.
- Customer development and cross-selling: You support the care of existing customers as needed, recognize potential for expanding collaboration, and work closely with service account management.
- CRM and pipeline management: You keep all activities, forecasts, and customer information up to date and ensure transparency in the sales funnel.
- Several years of experience in business development and sales of specialist applications in the IT B2B environment (e.g., Invoice Automation, ERP, DMS, archiving solutions, scanning services).
- Existing network in specialist departments of large Swiss companies, ideally in finance departments.
- Proven success in lead generation and successful closure of high-quality market opportunities.
- Degree in business administration, business informatics, or computer science.
- Very good knowledge of ERP, CRM systems, and IT architectures.
- Analytical thinking for creating business cases and ROI considerations.
- Fluent in German and English, French is an advantage.
- Responsibility & freedom: With us, you quickly take on responsibility and shape the company with your ideas. Our communication is respectful and solution-oriented.
- Perspective & learning culture: We regularly discuss your internal development and offer you a variety of professional and personal training opportunities – as individual and flexible as possible.
- Flexible work design: We adapt work to your current life circumstances. In many functions, you have the opportunity to work part-time and up to 50% remotely.
- Central workplaces: Our three offices are centrally located and close to public transport. In our office kitchens, all employees can help themselves to coffee, tea, and fruit. Large tables provide space for a shared breakfast or lunch.
- Family-like environment: We work simply and collaboratively across teams. Our hierarchies are flat, and decision-making paths are short. We tackle new topics or complex tasks together.
- Events & fun: Whether at the big summer event, ski weekend, team events, or just at the after-work drink – we also have fun together outside of work.
Our application process is quick, personal, and straightforward: We review your application together with the specialist department. If your application matches our desired profile, we will arrange a virtual conversation with you. If we convince each other, we will invite you in the next step to a personal meeting in our office premises, where you will meet your future team members.
