Trainee Manufacturing and Lean Management

Programme Structure

• In a 3-month basic training, you will get to know the main processes and the technical departments at our two locations Ruswil and Schachen from the ground up.
• For another 3 months, you will deepen your knowledge of the SIGA Management System, an adaptation of the Toyota Production System, in theory and practice. In doing so, you will expand your expertise, further develop existing processes in terms of Lean Production and take on initial project responsibility in the manufacturing environment.
• During a further 6 months, you will specifically deepen and consolidate your accumulated experience and acquired knowledge at our new production site in Halberstadt (DE) in daily application.
• The goal is to take on a responsible specialist, leadership or project position in the medium term.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Bachelor's or Master's degree at a university or university of applied sciences with a technical focus (engineering sciences) or business administration
• Very good language skills in German and English
• Proficient in MS Office and experience in the use of generative AI
• You are a true team player who motivates and inspires others
• You bring a pronounced doer personality, actively shape, and approach new paths with curiosity and courage
• You work independently and have a strong affinity for methods.
