As part of the development of our commercial organisation, we are looking for a Key Account Manager to support the growth of our strategic accounts, develop lasting client relationships and contribute to the Group’s commercial performance.
Job Description
As a Key Account Manager, you will be the guarantor of the commercial relationship with one or more strategic accounts of IOTA Group.
Unlike a purely prospecting role, this position is focused on client retention, development of existing accounts and identifying new opportunities within already established client relationships. Your goal will be to strengthen IOTA’s position with its clients, capture incoming opportunities and contribute to the development of the commercial scope.
Management and development of strategic accounts
- Be the preferred contact for the strategic clients in your portfolio;
- Develop a lasting trust relationship with various contacts: operational, purchasing, HR and decision-makers;
- Identify development opportunities within existing accounts: upsell, cross-sell, new geographies or new scopes;
- Maintain a high level of service quality and contribute to the retention of key accounts;
- Monitor the activity of your portfolio and contribute to its commercial performance.
Responding to client needs and commercial proposals
- Qualify client needs and prioritise high-potential opportunities;
- Participate in building commercial proposals tailored to client challenges;
- Contribute to responses to tenders and recurring commercial requests;
- Participate in commercial and contractual negotiations with a focus on quality, profitability and client satisfaction.
Project and consultant coordination
- Ensure follow-up of client projects, from the commercial phase to operational monitoring;
- Collaborate with internal teams to mobilise necessary resources;
- Monitor consultants on assignment and ensure the quality of their support;
- Anticipate client needs, renewals and new opportunities related to ongoing assignments.
International management and collaboration
- Work in an international environment, liaising with several internal teams and contacts;
- Contribute to the consistency of the client experience on accounts that may have a regional or global dimension;
- Participate in performance monitoring, quality reporting and continuous improvement of the client relationship.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or equivalent in commerce, business administration, international relations or related discipline;
- Training from a university, business school, Swiss HES/HEG or international equivalent will be appreciated;
- Beyond the degree, we value above all operational experience, understanding of client challenges and ability to manage complex commercial relationships.
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in business development, account management or account management in an international B2B environment;
- Experience managing strategic accounts or high-stakes client relationships;
- Experience responding to tenders, building commercial proposals or managing recurring client requests;
- Ability to coordinate multiple contacts in an international, multicultural or multi-country environment;
- Experience in technical assistance, international staffing, consulting or engineering services will be highly appreciated.

Additional Information
- Contract type: Permanent Swiss contract – Full time;
- Remuneration: Fixed salary over 13 months + bonus + transport allowance
