Our client, an established technology company, is further expanding its international procurement organisation and is seeking an expert for strategic purchasing in the field of fibre optics. In this responsible position, you will take on the development and implementation of the global purchasing strategy as well as infrastructure projects.
- Responsibility for offer design, contract negotiations and budget coordination
- Analysis of customer needs in collaboration with engineering and product management
- Identification and development of new suppliers within the framework of the global procurement strategy
- Responsible for the optimisation and further development of purchasing processes
- Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing
- Good user knowledge of the MS Office environment and an ERP system
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Strong technical understanding
