• Monitoring and control of the medium voltage network as well as ensuring a safe and reliable network operation
• Responsibility for the operational network management including coordination of operational switching and network-related measures
• Development and further development of emergency and operational concepts to ensure supply security
• Support and professional assistance for network projects from planning to implementation
• Analysis of faults and damage events as well as initiation and coordination of appropriate measures in damage management
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring a smooth flow of information
• Provision of on-call services and active participation in maintaining operational safety

• Completed studies as an electrical engineer, preferably with a specialisation in energy technology
• Basic electrical engineering training or several years of professional experience in handling high-voltage systems
• Ideally experience in network operation, network management or energy supply
• Confident handling of MS Office as well as good knowledge in the use of IT systems
• Structured, independent and responsible way of working with high initiative
• Strong communication skills, resilience and a confident approach to demanding situations
• Experience in crisis or incident management is an advantage
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills; additional languages are a plus
• Residence within approximately 30 minutes of Aarau
