Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for precise CNC milling in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will machine individual parts and series on modern CNC machining centres and ensure high manufacturing quality. In addition to setting up and operating, you will also optimise tools, cutting data and machining processes. The position offers a technically demanding environment with a focus on precision and efficient production.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and operating modern CNC milling machines
Manufacturing individual parts, prototypes and small series according to technical drawings
Creating and optimising CNC programmes
Selecting and optimising tools, clamping devices and cutting data
Commissioning and correcting CNC programmes directly at the machine
Performing measurement and quality controls during production
Analysing and resolving production deviations and machining problems
Optimising processing times, setup times and production processes
Maintaining production documents and CNC programmes
Collaborating with production planning, design and quality assurance
Qualifications:
Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ or comparable technical training
Several years of experience in CNC milling and setting up machining centres
Sound knowledge of machining, tool technology and CNC processing
Good knowledge of reading technical drawings and tolerances
Experience with CNC controls and ideally CAD/CAM systems
Very good German language skills
