Head of Clinic or Deputy Head of Clinic
7-month fixed-term contract 50%

Your mission:

• ensure quality care of patients according to current professional standards
• supervise the activity and training of assistant doctors and medical candidates
• provide teaching for pre- and post-graduate as well as for continuing medical education
• participate in the development of service projects and scientific projects
• participate in the on-call service

Your profile:

• federal medical diploma or equivalent
• you hold an FMH title in general internal medicine, or are in the process of obtaining it, or training considered equivalent
• advanced training in palliative medicine is an asset
• several years of experience as an assistant doctor in hospital internal medicine and at least one year in a palliative care unit
• proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language
• you are motivated to contribute to a good working atmosphere and appreciate collegial exchange

50% (fixed-term for 7 months)

Tasks

• You ensure high-quality patient care according to applicable professional standards.

• You supervise the activity and training of assistant doctors and junior assistants.
• You teach within the framework of medical education and training.
• You participate in the development of departmental and research projects.
• You take part in the on-call service.

Profile

• Federal medical diploma or equivalent training
• FMH specialist title in General Internal Medicine or in the process of obtaining it, or equivalent training
• Solid training in palliative medicine is an advantage
• Several years of experience as an assistant doctor in General Internal Medicine in a hospital and at least 1 year in a palliative care department
• German or French with good knowledge of the other language
• Motivation to contribute to a good working atmosphere, enjoyment of exchange with colleagues
