Youth Club Leader 10%Our youth clubs are looking for new club leaders!
The Breitenstein Centre is one of a total of 15 child and youth welfare centres in the canton of Zurich, ensuring a uniform, regionally and municipally well-supported service provision in the areas of child and adult protection, personal assistance, counselling and prevention for the population of the Andelfingen district.
The youth work of the Breitenstein Centre manages three youth clubs in the Andelfingen district with six club leaders and additional substitutes. The youth work management provides professional support.
We are looking for a club leader for each of our youth clubs in Marthalen and Andelfingen, approximately 10%.
The following tasks await you:
- Co-leading the youth club in a two-person team
- Ensuring the club operates during opening hours
- Managing the club kiosk and inventory control
- Preparing, maintaining and leading the youth club
- Being the contact person for the young people during club hours
- Planning and implementing projects and activities in the youth club involving the young people
- Preparing weekly reports on club operations
- Participating in coaching, further training and network meetings
We expect from you:
- You are interested in the world and issues of young people
- You already have some experience working with young people (youth work, scouts, sports club, etc.)
- You are motivated to support young people in their leisure activities
- You are at least 21 years old
- You are reliable, independent and responsible
- You are motivated to work in a team and to further develop the youth club
