Your tasks
- You lead the construction management department with eight employees in terms of personnel, finances and expertise and bear overall responsibility for its successful further development.
- You are responsible for competitions, planning, tenders and realisation of demanding new construction projects as well as complete renovations.
- You manage external planning and execution partners and ensure effective project and contract controlling.
- You ensure legally compliant, economical and transparent public procurement procedures.
- You continuously develop the standards, processes and tools in construction management.
- You prepare well-founded project proposals for the city council and the grand city council.
- You are responsible for investment planning and ensure forward-looking and sustainable management of investments.
Your profile
- You have a university degree in architecture, civil engineering or a comparable field.
- You bring several years of leadership and professional experience in client representation as well as in managing demanding construction projects.
- You have sound knowledge in the planning, tendering and realisation of construction projects.
- You are well versed in public procurement as well as in the relevant standards and legal requirements.
- You lead clearly, appreciatively and reliably and convince through initiative as well as a high willingness to make decisions and take responsibility.
- You possess strong negotiation skills and assertiveness.
- You act cost- and result-oriented and enjoy drafting clear, precise and well-founded decision proposals.
