The Foundation Senior Residence Grenchen operates the two senior centers at Weinberg and Kastels for 173 residents and employs 270 staff. In our senior residences, older people live in a family atmosphere. We encourage them to lead their own lives even in old age while providing them with a safe, age-appropriate environment where they feel comfortable.
We are looking for our two locations, Senior Center Kastels and at Weinberg, by appointment
Responsibility Care Secretariat/Bedding Disposition 80 – 100%
Tasks:
- Responsibility for bedding disposition in collaboration with the nursing management
- Management of networks with external entities such as social services of hospitals and municipalities, Spitex organizations, and family doctors
- Clarification of financial situation (cost approvals) and initial nursing assessment
- Facilitating/applying for guardianships
- Ensuring administrative interfaces between nursing and other areas of the institution
- Responsible for clarifying potential tenants for the senior apartments
Your Profile:
- Education at tertiary level in nursing or social work
- Solid knowledge in the areas: social insurance, social services, and nursing
- Interest in the field of long-term care
- High social competence and resilience
- Networked thinking and ability to quickly grasp tasks of high complexity and set the right priorities
- Very good German and IT skills
- RAI/RUG knowledge desired
