About the job
The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional centre and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants and counts 3,000 pupils. The Dietikon school comprises six school units, which have many years of experience in the field of special education and integration.
Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Advice and support for teachers, school assistants and special needs educators of cycle 1 and other bodies in educational and special educational issues and projects
- Participation in school location discussions and IDTs as required
- Theme design in educational meetings of the schools as needed
- Writing of written feedback
- Processing of deferral requests and ISR dossiers
- Collaboration in specific working groups, e.g. early support event "School success is no coincidence"
Your profile
- Completed studies in school special education or special needs early education
- Knowledge of the Zurich public school system and Curriculum 21
- In-depth special education expertise
- Knowledge of methods and aids in kindergarten pedagogy
- Experience in conducting conversations
- Sound PC skills as well as confident written and oral expression
