Continuing Education
Continuing education is essential for any professional career. Whether it is to deepen specific topics and acquire specialised skills in a field after generalist training, to support a professional transition to another area of activity, or to take on new responsibilities such as those of a professional practice trainer.
Developing skills requires acquiring theoretical tools and approaches as well as practical experience in the field, and working on the connection between them.
ESSIL offers various types of continuing education, in partnership with other schools and institutions as well.

Privacy in institutions
In social institutions, issues related to privacy are omnipresent: unexpected confidences, ambiguous situations, team questions without obvious answers. Intended for professionals supporting people on a daily basis (structures for people with disabilities, nursing homes, homes and institutions for adolescents), this training provides a space to name, understand and act in situations related to the intimate and emotional life of the people supported.
Training in professional practice (CAS)
The professional practice trainer (FPP) supports the student in their practical training within the training institution. They support the development of professional skills, encourage practice analysis and ensure the link between the field and the training provided in higher education institutions in the social field. This long training, built in partnership with the Haute École de Formation Professionnelle and other higher education institutions, leads to the award of the required title for supporting students during their training.
