About the job
The Pré Pariset Foundation brings together three medical-social establishments (EMS) located on 3 sites in the city of Pully, with a total of 132 beds. It employs 240 collaborators. Our mission is to support elderly people losing autonomy, in long and short stays, as well as in its temporary reception centre (CAT). We also manage a public restaurant, "le Delta", with 54 seats and a terrace.
To complete the animation team of the CAT and actively collaborate with the long-stay animation team, we are advertising a position of
Social Animator – Field Coordinator at 60%
Main missions
- As a member of the temporary reception centre (CAT) team, actively participate in its daily operation, being present on the ground with the beneficiaries.
- Design, organise and directly lead CAT activities, promoting participation, social interactions, maintaining abilities and the well-being of beneficiaries.
- Organise and carry out outings for beneficiaries.
- Welcome, listen to and support beneficiaries in their journey, respecting their dignity and individuality.
- Assess beneficiaries’ needs and direct them to appropriate social resources (housing, health, etc.), with a view to maintaining them at home or, when the time comes, transition.
- Implement individualised support projects in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and beneficiaries.
- Collaborate with local partners (social services, associations, institutions, CMS, etc.) to ensure comprehensive care for beneficiaries and their maintenance at home.
- Support informal carers through advice and guidance actions.
- Ensure the preparation and follow-up of beneficiaries’ files.
- Participate in coordinating actions with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to improving professional practices.
- Guarantee respectful and caring support, in line with the Foundation’s values.
- Coordinate and prepare the CAT team’s work schedules, ensuring good organisation of activities and continuity of support.
- Actively promote the CAT to partners (doctors, pharmacists, etc.).
- Welcome beneficiaries, accompany visits and integration days.
- Be proactive in developing the CAT and its activities.
Profile
- HES/ES diploma in social work or equivalent recognised qualification (preferably with a sociocultural animation option), mandatory
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Willingness and interest to invest daily within the CAT team
- Ability to provide comprehensive support (including ADLs)
- Excellent knowledge of the social network and aid systems (social insurance, social legislation, etc.)
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while integrating into a multidisciplinary team.
- Organisational skills, rigour and adaptability.
- Kind and empathetic personality
- Excellent command of IT tools (Microsoft Office, SADIES suite, etc.)
- Driving licence mandatory
