Responsibility
As an electronics technician for operational technology, you are a very important part of the well-functioning railway traffic. Because through you, our trains can run and our passengers arrive safely and quickly at their destination.
Starting September 1, 2026, we are looking for you for the 3.5-year training as an electronics technician for operational technology (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG. You will complete your training at the practical location in Basel. Your place of work is within walking distance from the station. In addition, you will attend vocational school and training workshop in alternating blocks. These are located in Freiburg (Breisgau).
What to expect in your training:
You work outside in the track network together with your team
During your training, you will become familiar with the maintenance and repair of control and safety technology, such as signals, switch motors, and level crossings
In addition, as an electronics technician for operational technology, you will learn to analyze and eliminate faults in operational technology
You will also be taught knowledge of measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications
Your profile:
You have (soon) successfully completed your intermediate school leaving certificate and your school leaving certificate is recognized in Germany
Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 language level
You enjoy math and physics
You are handy and like tinkering with electronic components
You are definitely a team player and reliable
