Your role
Within the manufacturing team, reporting to the production organisation manager, you will play a key role in building and refining prototypes to support the development of our electric propulsion systems.
You will work closely with engineers and process specialists to assemble, test and improve components, while contributing to the development and optimisation of manufacturing methods.
Your work will directly support the transition from prototype to industrialised and certifiable production.
Main responsibilities
- Build and assemble prototypes of aerospace components and subsystems, including energy storage systems
- Support the development and validation of manufacturing processes in collaboration with process engineers
- Use and configure production machines and equipment
- Prepare materials, tools and templates for prototype construction and process testing
- Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing processes and identifying production issues
- Collect and record process data, including parameters, results and observations during tests
- Support process tests and experiments aimed at evaluating materials and manufacturing methods
- Maintain clear documentation and records for prototype construction and process testing
- Ensure correct handling of materials and compliance with safety procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams during development and validation phases
Your profile
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) in polymecanics, micromechanics, manufacturing, materials science or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role (generally 3 years or more) in manufacturing, prototyping or industrial environments
- Practical experience with manufacturing processes and machine operation
- Good understanding of engineering materials (metals, composites, polymers, etc.)
- Experience in manufacturing, assembling and testing prototypes
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Fluency in French; English is an asset.
