YOUR TASKS
- Professional and organisational management of the genetics laboratory
- Responsibility for genetic diagnostics as well as evaluation, interpretation and reporting of genetic analyses
- Further development and optimisation of the quality management system (QMS) and ensuring high quality standards
- Methodical development and expansion of the diagnostic analysis portfolio
- Collaboration with specialist doctors, authorities as well as internal and external contacts
- Professional and personnel leadership as well as promotion and development of the laboratory team
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed degree with a doctorate in biology or medicine
- Completed FAMH training (Medical Genetics) with at least 5 years of professional experience or comparable foreign qualification (e.g. specialist human geneticist (GfH)) with willingness for FAMH recognition.
- Sound knowledge in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), genomics and bioinformatics
- Broad expertise with solid knowledge in oncogenetics
- Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
- Analytical, structured and entrepreneurial thinking as well as high initiative
