Department:DECSEntity :Social Action Service (SASO) - Cantonal Office for Health Insurance and Study Grants (OCAB)As part of SASO, OCAB's main missions are to examine LAMal subsidy applications, process compensation claims for LAMal debts submitted by health insurance funds, ensure mandatory affiliation to a LAMal health insurance fund for all residents of the canton, and assess eligibility for study grants.
Activities :Within the scope of your activity, you will be involved in processing LAMal subsidies (granting, maintenance, reduction, cancellation and refusal) as well as study grants. You will also be required to receive and check social benefit applications submitted by the Regional Social Counters (GSR), determine the income threshold granting access to the benefit, and communicate the decision to beneficiaries and/or applicants.Finally, you respond to requests and questions from beneficiaries and/or applicants.
Desired profile :Holder of a commercial training (professional maturity, commercial diploma or equivalent qualification), you have experience in the field of compulsory health insurance and/or study grants. You have general knowledge in the field of social insurance as well as a solid foundation in accounting and master common computer tools.Furthermore, you demonstrate flexibility, open-mindedness and know how to manage stressful situations effectively.
Finally, you show a strong interest in public service and hold a clean criminal record.
