Job Description
- Professional and disciplinary management of warehouse & shipping as well as intralogistics (team including temporary staff of approx. 7-10 employees)
- Ensuring mutual representation within and between the two teams
- Deployment planning and personnel management of employees in warehouse & shipping and intralogistics
Warehouse & Shipping
- Loading and inspection of goods
- Issuing delivery notes
- Loading metre planning
- Handling of piece goods and parcel shipping
- Ensuring daily-ready goods dispatches
Intralogistics
- Control and monitoring of goods receipt
- Order picking
- Warehouse optimisation
- Control of internal material flow (scaffolding warehouse, warehouse-FS, goods receipt warehouse)
- Ensuring daily-ready goods receipts and provisions
Cross-functional leadership tasks
- Capacity planning and resource management to ensure timely material availability
- Quality assurance and compliance with safety and environmental standards according to Doka guidelines
- Continuous improvement of processes and workflows according to lean principles and with the support of digital tools
- Collaboration with other departments such as sales, project engineering and purchasing to optimise the supply chain
- Responsibility for warehouse key figures, costs, efficiency and material turnover
- Implementation and use of the ERP system (warehouse management, material tracking)
- Organisation and support in warehouse management and inventory
Qualifications
- Completed training in warehouse/logistics (e.g. logistics specialist EFZ, or similar), ideally with further education (HF/FH) or comparable training (construction company / municipal depot)
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the construction or industrial supply sector
- Several years of leadership experience with high intercultural and social competence
- Familiarity with ERP systems and digital warehouse processes
- Very good knowledge of warehouse logistics and occupational safety
- Very good process understanding
- Resilience, assertiveness as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality, complemented by an entrepreneurial mindset
- Independent, self-reliant and goal-oriented working style
- Openness to new ideas and change processes
- Very good PC user skills
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
