Test Engineer
Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer, you take on a central role in ensuring the highest product quality within the framework of our ERP modernisation. You develop and implement automated test solutions that sustainably improve our software quality and secure our business processes.
- You are responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites for our ERP system
- You design and implement end-to-end, API and performance tests
- You conduct manual regression tests
- You are responsible for the continuous monitoring and assurance of the quality of our applications throughout the entire development cycle
- You identify and document software defects and work closely with the development team
- You actively contribute in a committed, interdisciplinary and agile team
- You actively shape the test strategy and continuously develop our test processes
- You integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- You create meaningful test reports and quality metrics
Requirements
- You hold a certification as ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or higher (e.g. Test Automation Engineer, Technical Test Analyst) and have several years of proven professional experience in test automation
- You have solid knowledge in at least one test automation framework (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework)
- You have experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C#
- You have an understanding of software development processes and agile methods
- It is advantageous if you have experience with ERP systems as well as solid knowledge in API testing (REST, SOAP) and performance testing and are familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Argo CD
- You have experience in version control with Git and Bitbucket and in using issue tracking systems such as Jira
- You convince with analytical thinking and a structured way of working, communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team
- You show initiative with a joy of continuous learning and are characterised by a high quality awareness as well as attention to detail
