Job Description
The Department of Public Law is opening a 100% assistant position in the field of economic public law. The activity will mainly focus on the following topics: competition law, regulated sectors (telecommunications, energy), state restrictions on market access, state aid, public enterprises, public procurement, as well as financial market regulation.
We are looking for a motivated person with excellent analytical skills, interested in the interactions between technology, the State and society, and wishing to engage in a dynamic academic environment.
Title and Required Skills
Master's degree in law from a Swiss university, with a good overall grade. Master's students in law at the Faculty of the University of Geneva may also apply, provided they have already obtained 240 ECTS credits and their diploma thesis is about to be completed. A lawyer's certificate is an asset.

The successful candidate will be hired on a two-year contract, renewable for two successive periods of two years and one year respectively. The maximum duration of the assistant position is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period, during which the employment relationship may be terminated with three months' notice to the end of a month.
