Teacher for Italian
Bündner Kantonsschule | 80-100 % | Chur
The Bündner Kantonsschule is an important educational institution with around 1,000 students of all three cantonal languages. As a department of the Office for Higher Education, it offers secondary school courses at the long- and short-term gymnasium as well as at the specialized, commercial, and computer science secondary schools. As a teacher for Italian, you will teach students at the gymnasium, the specialized and commercial secondary schools, as well as at the computer science secondary school.
We are looking for a teacher for Italian for our school starting August 1, 2026.
Your area of responsibility
- Teaching activities in the subject area of Italian at the gymnasium as well as at the specialized, commercial, and computer science secondary schools
- Organization and implementation of project weeks, class events, and excursions in a team with other teachers
- Taking on various tasks within the department
- Participation in development projects of the entire school
What we expect from you
- Completed university degree in the subject of Italian as a foreign language (L2) as well as a teaching diploma for Matura schools. An additional qualification for teaching Italian as a first language (L1) is an advantage
- Teaching experience at secondary level II is desired
- Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented personality who enjoys working with young people. We also expect a communicative person who takes responsibility and is happy to engage in school life
- As a teacher at the trilingual school, knowledge of other cantonal languages complements your profile
