For our inpatient occupational therapy team at KZU in Bassersdorf, we are looking for a committed individual to strengthen our interdisciplinary team. The team consists of 11 therapists, including three occupational therapists. Additionally, we continuously train three occupational and physiotherapy students. The position is suitable for both experienced professionals and career starters as well as those re-entering the profession.

You will work independently, plan and design therapies autonomously, and benefit from interprofessional exchange as well as flexible working hours without weekend shifts.

• Treatment of patients from the acute and transitional care, neurology, and geriatric rehabilitation departments
• Collaboration in an interdisciplinary therapy team including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, activation, as well as art and music therapy
• Active participation in internal training and professional exchange within the occupational therapy team
• Close interprofessional cooperation with the medical service and nursing staff
• Planning and conducting individual therapies and, if interested, small group therapies such as garden therapy, cooking group, or memory training
• Use of proven and new technologies such as Neurogym or Dividat Silvervit, activity table
• Optional involvement in practical training or opportunities for further development in this area

• Completed training as a certified occupational therapist FH or a foreign diploma recognized by the SRK
• Open to career starters and those re-entering the profession
• Strong interest in intra- and interprofessional collaboration
• Interest in assessment and progress monitoring using standardized assessments
• Enjoyment in working with geriatric patients
• Responsible, positive personality with high social competence
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written

The KZU, with its two in-house daycares, operates two nursing centers in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three assisted living apartments in Nuerensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers a home to elderly, care-dependent people and, in addition to various specialized services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students across 17 different professional groups.
