About the job
What you can achieve
- Together with the medical and business management, you assume strategic, organisational and nursing responsibility for the University Cardiac Centre
- You actively shape the further development of the Cardiac Centre and set impulses for the highest quality, cost-effectiveness and a consistently patient-centred care
- You lead the nursing management level with five direct and around 110 indirect reports and promote a high-performance, appreciative leadership culture
- You ensure high-quality nursing care and actively drive the further development of evidence-based nursing practice
- You are responsible for the nursing budget of the Cardiac Centre and optimise resource planning and utilisation in close cooperation with the nursing management
- You continuously establish, evaluate and optimise processes and structures with regard to quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness
What you bring with you
- Completed diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH with a relevant master’s degree (e.g. in nursing science, healthcare management or advanced practice nursing)
- Several years of leadership experience in a complex, highly specialised hospital organisation, ideally in cardiology or cardiac surgery
- Strong leadership, communication and change management skills as well as the ability to inspire people towards common goals
- Decisiveness, entrepreneurial thinking and a strong implementation focus
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration and the ability to sustainably shape relationships on an equal footing
- Strategic thinking, enthusiasm for innovation and a high quality awareness in a university environment
