As Director of Sales, you are the driving force behind the growth of our hotel portfolio in Switzerland. You develop and implement strategic sales initiatives, strengthen key customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities to ensure sustainable revenue growth and profitability. You work closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to ensure the optimal positioning of our hotels in the market and to successfully implement commercial strategies.
Your future responsibilities
- Responsibility for the sales strategy of our Swiss hotel portfolio
- Support in the further development of the sales team including coaching and mentoring
- Care, expansion, and strategic evaluation of the existing customer portfolio
- Management of the RFP process including support in negotiations and contract conclusions
- Creation, implementation, and monitoring of regional sales and action plans
- Identification and development of new market segments and business opportunities
- Close collaboration with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to achieve commercial goals
- Development of sales strategies for individual hotels, segments, and customer groups
- Participation in budget and forecast planning to achieve defined revenue targets
- Conducting market and competitor analyses to derive growth strategies
Your profile
- Completed studies in a sales, business, or hospitality-related field, ideally hospitality, tourism, or business administration
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior sales position, ideally in hospitality
- Proven experience in multi-hotel or cluster sales management
- Strong analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial thinking
- Experience with CRM systems, sales tools, and data analysis tools
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Result-oriented working style with a clear focus on increasing sales and business development
- Fluent German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
- High flexibility, initiative, and willingness to travel within the region
