Social Educator 80% (M/F/I)

The FAH-SEB is a Fribourg-based institution dedicated to the reception, accommodation and support of adults with disabilities presenting intellectual impairments. It encompasses several living and activity sites, spread across residential structures, villas and day centres. On a daily basis, the Foundation welcomes around 120 people with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. It offers comprehensive and personalised support, including socio-educational services, health and wellbeing monitoring, as well as occupational activities.

Through a human, inclusive and professional approach, the Foundation works towards the development of autonomy, inclusion and social participation of the people it supports. Through the quality and diversity of its services, it establishes itself as a key player in the field of support for people with disabilities in the canton of Fribourg.

Your responsibilities

• Support Residents in daily living activities
• Promote Residents’ autonomy, wellbeing and participation
• Ensure monitoring and updating of Residents’ life projects
• Guarantee individualised and needs-adapted support
• Carry out related administrative tasks
• Actively collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Contribute to the quality and continuity of support

Your profile

• Higher education in specialised education (IPC, HES, ES) or equivalent training
• Experience in the disability field
• Committed, motivated and creative personality
• Comfortable with IT tools
• Valid category B driving licence
• Clean criminal record extracts
• Oral knowledge of German: an asset
