About the job
For a renowned partner company in the Grenchen area, we are filling a position as an Automation Technician with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ). You will work on electrical control and automation systems, carry out assembly and wiring tasks, and commission systems. Additionally, you will analyse faults, perform repairs, and ensure that systems operate reliably and safely.
Tasks
- Building and wiring control and automation systems
- Conducting functional and safety tests
- Commissioning systems at the customer’s site or in the workshop
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical components
- Creating or adapting technical documents and documentation
Requirements
- Completed training as an Automation Technician EFZ
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, and automation
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Careful, focused, and independent working style
- Teamwork skills and communication ability
- Good German language skills
