As part of the development of the Operations domain, we are offering a position for:
Network Optimization Manager – Fixed-term contract until 28.02.2027
Your mission
You will analyze and propose operational and strategic measures to optimize the progress of the TPG lines, ensure the monitoring of data from the various onboard systems of the vehicles and the infrastructure specific to TPG, as well as process feedback from the field, while producing and disseminating the information necessary for the proper functioning of the network.
Your main responsibilities
- Manage data from available tools as well as field observations, and produce summary documents illustrating the progress and optimization of lines on targeted sections, for internal and external stakeholders,
- Keep databases of distances and travel times for different routes of the network lines up to date, integrating daily changes (construction sites, stop relocations, new routes), and ensure data transmission internally and externally,
- Based on field feedback, diagnose anomalies reported on the traffic light regulation systems in the Franco-Geneva region, implement necessary measures to ensure a quick return to normal conditions and keep the corresponding dashboards updated,
- Control and adjust necessary actions to ensure optimal operation of lines running through narrow sectors that do not allow vehicle crossing,
- Develop monitoring tables for the various measures implemented on TPG lines, to present them to management for analysis and decision-making,
- Participate in travel time analysis campaigns to ensure the proper functioning of the network.
Your profile
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an automation technician or electronics technician or an equivalent qualification,
- Holding a professional driving license category (TB/AB/TW) is an asset,
- Minimum 3 years of experience desired,
- Very good knowledge of the canton of Geneva and the TPG network,
- Excellent computer skills,
- Autonomous and responsible, with good communication skills, initiative, and good stress resistance,
- Excellent analytical mind, comfortable with numbers, organized and rigorous,
- Perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written.
