It includes two hospital sites located in Moutier and Saint-Imier, six Medicentres, and the Biel Medical Centre (Medizinisches Zentrum Biel). To strengthen its Internal Medicine department at the Moutier site, we are looking for a:
Chief Resident or Deputy Chief Resident in Internal Medicine
Job Description
In this role, you will actively participate in patient care within a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment.
Your main activities include:
- supervising patient care in the emergency department
- liaison medicine activities with other hospital departments, notably the Mental Health Unit.
- supervising and training doctors in training
Qualifications
- Federal medical diploma or equivalent recognised qualification in Switzerland
- Specialist title in general internal medicine (or in the process of obtaining it)
- Interest in hospital internal medicine and emergency medicine
- Sense of responsibility, autonomy and team spirit
- Good interpersonal skills and interest in knowledge transfer
