About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex. The Oberi Retirement Home provides a well-maintained home for 150 residents. We are looking for a competent, enthusiastic, and team-oriented leader from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Operational management and independent organisation of the residential group
- Ensuring professional care and support of the residents
- Responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership of the care and support team
- Interdisciplinary collaboration, including with the medical service, therapies, care expert, customer advice, and hospitality
- Responsibility for the RAI classification
Your Profile
- Qualification as a registered nurse HF/FH with management training or willingness to undertake it
- At least 2 years of professional experience, leadership experience advantageous
- Experience working with people with dementia
- High social competence and communication skills with strong reliability and dependability, even in stressful situations
- Great independence and commitment as well as innovation and openness to change processes
- Quick comprehension, networked thinking with good analytical skills
- Willingness to participate in direct care and support
- Fluent German and very good MS Office skills (RAI/PEP knowledge advantageous)
- Experience with RAI LTCF or comparable
