Road Maintenance Worker
Department of Civil Engineering | 80-100 % | Davos Frauenkirch
The Department of Civil Engineering is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads as well as water engineering and slow traffic in Graubünden. In addition, we take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads within the canton. The canton’s road infrastructure includes over 1,450 civil engineering structures, including bridges at dizzying heights of up to 90 metres and tunnels up to 3 kilometres long. The challenges posed by the nature of our mountainous canton in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As a Friendly Work Space certified office, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. We are looking for a Road Maintenance Worker for the Road Maintenance Department in District 5 Davos from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
- Carrying out road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
- Summer and winter service
- Clearing up and repair work after accidents or natural events
- Inspection of road conditions and road facilities
- Providing on-call service (summer and winter)
- Completed vocational training in the construction trade
- Manual dexterity
- Physical resilience
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Category C driving licence advantageous
