The positions are attached to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences . This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and ear, nose and throat pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation).
The department's objective is to guide patients towards regaining their autonomy through education, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures both the operation of patients and their support, to promote early return home. In the same spirit, outpatient care is also prioritised and surgical activity optimised to facilitate access to care within a reasonable timeframe.
The ENT / cervico-facial surgery service provides comprehensive, diagnostic, therapeutic and psychological care for patients suffering from ENT conditions, taking into account the services provided by other HUG departments. It offers medical-surgical services in the specialty and sub-specialties, for newborns, children, adults and the elderly.
The service has an 18-bed hospital unit, an outpatient care unit, a polyclinic and a day emergency reception service.
