At BKW, ICT specialists ensure that the IT infrastructure always functions and is up to date with the latest technology. At BKW, you benefit from comprehensive, practical training and become a sought-after IT professional.

Your tasks

• You install PCs, tablets and mobile phones and put them into operation.
• In addition, you integrate devices such as printers into the network infrastructure and resolve faults.
• You quickly recognise customer needs and handle their concerns in 1st and 2nd level support.
• Additionally, you instruct and support our employees in the use of ICT tools and their standard applications.
• Your apprenticeship starts with a varied basic year at the Vocational Training Centre Bern (Bbc). Afterwards, you expand and deepen your skills in the company.
• Thanks to various internships, you discover different areas of IT and receive practical, comprehensive training.

What you bring with you

• You are in the 9th grade or in the 10th school year and have good maths grades.
• You are enthusiastic about digital technology, computer science and computers.
• You bring logical thinking, good reasoning skills and the necessary patience to solve complex tasks.
• You are motivated to work systematically and enjoy finding and implementing solutions.
• You have organisational talent and bring a lot of patience for your fellow human beings.
• You enjoy contact with people and like working independently as well as in a team.

  
  An aptitude test (e.g. Multicheck) is desirable.
  
  From August 2026, we will start our selection process. We will get back to you from that time onwards.
