Our specialized EY-Parthenon (EY-P) team in the Financial Services sector supports our clients from the financial industry in complex, transaction-related corporate finance topics, particularly with valuations, financial modeling, and data analysis. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Intern (100% for 6 months).

• From day one, you will work in a diverse team with experienced colleagues. The coaching from your team will help you develop your technical know-how and soft skills;
• You will primarily assist in the preparation of financial analyses (Financial Due Diligence) on target companies to provide clients with important insights for strategic investment decisions;
• You will support various projects in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, corporate valuation, and strategic corporate development;
• You will assist in marketing presentations, research, and market analyses;
• You have the unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the businesses of national and international companies from various industries and continuously expand your knowledge through diverse tasks, interdisciplinary assignments, and various training opportunities.

This is what you bring — skills with which you shape the future

• You have completed a master’s degree in economics or in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or are about to complete one (preferably with a focus or minor in corporate finance, accounting, and/or strategy);
• You have a strong interest in corporate transactions, strategic issues, and the financial services sector, and ideally have already gained some experience in these areas;
• You possess strong analytical skills, combined with a clear expression and enthusiasm for communication;
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge in processing and visualizing large data sets (e.g., with Python or PowerBI) is an advantage;
• Good communication and presentation skills in German and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French and/or other European languages is an advantage;
• Open-minded, humorous, and dynamic personality with an independent working style.
