The position is attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the proper functioning of all HUG, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the medical device reprocessing service, the biomedical and equipment service, as well as Cressy-Santé. More than 1,300 professionals carry out their missions daily with constant attention to quality, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
The medical device reprocessing service, ISO 13485 certified, is an institutional technical and scientific expertise service composed of multiple activity sectors such as washing, reassembly of surgical sets and trays, as well as steam and low-temperature sterilizations.
Job description
You participate in the internal logistics function of the medical device reprocessing service by ensuring the handling, transport, unloading, delivery, and collection of medical devices (pre-disinfected and/or sterile) and goods and equipment in all services and units of Cluse-Roseraie as well as on the Vernier industrial site, in compliance with established directives and procedures.
You participate in the internal logistics chain of the medical device reprocessing service at the Vernier site: reception, transport, internal handling, preparation of transport cabinets for the distribution of medical devices on the HUG site, traceability, and equipment maintenance.
You ensure all handling and logistics services for medical devices, consumables, and all other supplies as well as the maintenance of medical device transport equipment.
You are in excellent physical condition and maintain it (absence of physical limitations is mandatory to ensure daily lifting and repetitive body movements).
You have a very good appearance and recognized interpersonal skills that allow you to facilitate exchanges and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications
You ideally hold an AFP certificate as a light vehicle driver and hold a light vehicle driving license.
You know the delivery or pickup locations of the goods as well as the road safety rules and traffic code.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and master the French language orally and in writing (a minimum B2 level is required).
Your ability to manage priorities allows you to meet required deadlines. You are known for your rigor and autonomy.
