Job Description
The perfect apprenticeship for young adults passionate about technology and who enjoy manufacturing parts at the highest level!
In this exciting training, you will perform the following activities:
- Processing different materials with the most modern machines and technologies
- Manufacturing individual parts or prototypes by hand using turning, milling, drilling and grinding machines
- Programming construction drawings using computer-controlled machines
The training lasts 4 years, including 2 years of basic training in our own learning workshop on the ETH Hönggerberg campus. During the apprenticeship, you will rotate your place of work according to a rotation principle and thus get to know ETH from different perspectives.
Profile
You are fascinated by technical contexts and mechanics. You have good spatial imagination, logical thinking and are skilled with your hands. In addition, you like to work precisely, carefully and concentrated, and can work patiently and persistently on a technical solution.
You need a compulsory school leaving certificate for this apprenticeship and good grades in the following school subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
