From 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking to complement our team with your support as Head of Department Central Services (80% - 100%, also possible in job sharing).
Job description
As Head of Department Central Services, you are responsible for the functioning and further development of the central administration of the two offices. You lead a team of ten and are part of the management of the Public Prosecutor's Office Zurich-Limmat. Your tasks include:
- Management of business control / archive / dispatch of the Public Prosecutor's Offices Zurich-Limmat and Zurich-Sihl
- Electronic recording of new entries and case closures
- Processing of physical and electronic incoming mail
- Final checks on case completions and monitoring of legal validity
- Management of the archive
- Handling general administrative tasks as well as advising/supporting case handlers in office-technical matters
- Participation in management conferences and project meetings
- Development and assurance of optimal workflows
The project Justitia 4.0, initiated by the federal courts and the cantonal criminal and penal authorities, will lead to the introduction of electronic file management and mandatory electronic legal communication, thus bringing profound changes to the Central Services in the coming years. You are ready to be at the forefront of this change and actively help shape it.
Requirements
You have a solid commercial education and have gained experience at a judicial or court authority. Your personal strengths include independent, efficient, precise and reliable work, motivating employees, and good communication skills.
