Internship for Social Pedagogy Students (Practical Module)
The social-pedagogical-psychiatric model ward SOMOSA offers an inpatient 6- to 12-month intensive treatment program for 14- to 18-year-old female and male adolescents who are in a severe adolescent crisis. The goal of the treatment is to stabilize the clients' personalities to such an extent that they can cope with the existing supportive or replacement socialization systems upon discharge.
The treatment team consists of social-pedagogical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic, and work-agogic professionals who implement the SOMOSA-specific therapeutic-pedagogical concept. The highly frequent case and team supervisions serve as reflection and support forums.
Qualified staff with appropriate training accompany the internship.
