About the job
In this key role, you take overall responsibility for quality, occupational safety, and sustainability and work closely with the production plants and management.
- Overall responsibility for the quality management system (QMS), the operational laboratory, as well as the further development of quality and sustainability standards
- Planning, execution, and follow-up of internal and external audits including authorities and certification bodies
- Analysis of complaints, derivation of measures, and professional support for the plants and production managers
- Preparation of management reviews, supplier evaluations, as well as relevant reports and decision-making bases
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements (FM/FMBV, label requirements, etc.) including clarifications with authorities
- Professional responsibility for occupational safety (SiBe) as well as support in risk analyses
- Training, instruction, and consulting of employees on quality, safety, and sustainability topics
- Completed university or technical college degree, agronomy or veterinary medicine is an advantage
- Further training in quality management, as an auditor, or in the field of occupational safety is an advantage
- Proximity to agriculture as well as understanding of agricultural value chains is an advantage
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
- Good to very good IT skills (MS Office, LIMS/LISA, IQ-Soft)
- Structured, solution-oriented working style with assertiveness and communication skills
- Responsible and versatile leadership role with great scope for design
