Payment Specialist (80 - 100%)

You want to support our team in SIC Operations and make an important contribution to the quality of the Swiss financial centre? Then we look forward to hearing from you. Many changes in payment transactions must also be implemented by our participants (banks in Switzerland and across Europe) in a timely manner. In this role, you are the monitoring and contact centre for support requests related to electronic payments. You work in shifts (Monday to Friday between 06:30 and 19:30) including on-call duties (after 1 year) outside office hours. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to participate in various projects. For this varied and exciting position, we offer a hybrid working model (SIX office & home office).
These are your tasks
- 1st and 2nd level support for Swiss payment transactions (SIC – including Instant Payments – and euroSIC)
- Monitoring of payment systems (SIC/euroSIC/SWIFT) and technical connections
- Management and maintenance of participant master data
- Coordination with the Swiss National Bank and the Swiss Euro Clearing Bank
- Participation in specialised emergency drills and involvement in projects
- Various administrative tasks
This is what you bring
- Commercial basic training (commercial apprenticeship, business school or equivalent), experience in payment transactions is an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts (Monday to Friday: between 06:30 and 19:30)
- After approx. 1 year: willingness for on-call duty outside office hours including weekends/public holidays
- A high degree of independence and helpfulness
- Team player and enjoyment of customer contact
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio etc.)
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; French skills are a plus
