Catechist

The Reformed Church community Wiesendangen is a medium-sized church community between Winterthur and Frauenfeld. With our 12 employees, we create a diverse and attractive offer for people of all ages. We are looking for the next school start 2026/27 for a cheerful, child-loving person who lives and conveys Christian values to 2nd to 4th graders. 
 

Have you completed training as a catechist or do you have similar training? Or are you willing to complete the training alongside your job and learn with the children and awaken their desire for more? Then contact us. 

Diverse tasks

• Implementation of the overall religious education concept in the team
• Organization and execution of 4 – 5 weekly lessons for the minichile (2nd grade), 3rd grade religious instruction and Club 4 (workload approx. 20-25 %) in Wiesendangen and Gundetswil
• Co-organization and execution of 1–2 church services with the religious instruction children on the topics of baptism and harvest thanksgiving
• Participation in family events and community activities
• Collaboration with parents, employees and volunteers
• Administrative tasks
• Participation in the community convention
