The Steinfeld nursing and retirement home is located in the middle of the village of Suhr, in close proximity to Aarau, and offers a cozy home for 99 older, independent individuals as well as those in need of care and support.
This is what you will achieve with us
- You are responsible for the practical training of learners in the department (levels FaGe EFZ and AGS EBA)
- You plan learning sequences and carry them out independently. Additionally, you support the flow of information with all individuals involved in the training (learners, department management, staff, education coordinators)
- You are responsible for the proper care and support of residents and share responsibility for the implementation of the qualified care process
- You are a primary caregiver and work within the primary care system (including family involvement)
- You are responsible for the preparation, checking, and distribution of medications
- You participate in BESA assessments and are also responsible for the correct maintenance of care documentation and other administrative tasks
This is what you bring
- Completed training as a Health Professional EFZ or equivalent training
- Preferably further training as a vocational trainer (m/f/d)
- Experience in long-term care
- Empathy, flexibility, and teamwork skills
- Ability to make independent and correct decisions within your area of competence
- Enjoyment in dealing with elderly and older people
