Your mission:
- Position yourself as a reference expert in haemodialysis within the Fribourg and Riaz units
- Provide care services based on evidence-based nursing (EBN) and professional standards, engaging with patients presenting complex care situations
- Analyse professional practices, manage the continuous improvement of care services and plan, in collaboration with the ICUS, sustainable development strategies (consolidation of the nursing care process, implementation of innovations, team coaching, etc.)
- Participate in the design and documentation of processes and work instructions; communicate the results of your work through various dissemination channels
- Supervise, support and advise staff, students and new team members, in partnership with the ICUS, in complex care situations
- Collaborate with the ICLS for the creation and development of service-specific projects, actively participate in intra- and extra-mural clinical projects as well as in the development of inter-site transversality
- Support the institution’s vision and adapt it to the service context
- Perform the role of nurse within the services, assuming all types of shift schedules of the units
Your profile:
- General nursing diploma, HES level, or equivalent training
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in haemodialysis or equivalent experience in a specialised hospital setting, with strong clinical assessment skills
- Clinical nurse specialist certificate (CAS) or equivalent, or willingness to undertake it
- Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the partner language; proficiency in common IT tools and project management tools used in the institution
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, with the capacity to unite and positive leadership
- Close collaboration with the medical and nursing managers of the service; strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and strong professional stance; dynamic, constructive and innovative spirit, open to change
- Stress resistance, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills in a dynamic and demanding environment

Tasks
- You are an expert in haemodialysis in the departments of Fribourg and Riaz.
- You base your nursing on scientific evidence (evidence-based nursing, EBN) and participate in the care of patients with complex nursing situations.
- You analyse professional practice, take care of the continuous improvement of nursing services and plan, in collaboration with the ward management, strategies for sustainable development (consolidation of nursing processes, implementation of innovations, team coaching, etc.).
- You participate in the design and documentation of work processes and instructions and disseminate the results of your work through various communication channels.
- You supervise, support and advise staff, students and new team members in complex nursing situations in collaboration with the ward management.
- You work together with the specialised nursing expert on the creation and further development of department-specific projects, actively participate in internal and external clinical projects as well as in the development of cross-site activities.
- You support the hospital’s vision and adapt it for your department.
- You perform your role as a nursing professional in the departments and work all shifts.
Profile
- Diploma in nursing FH or equivalent training
- At least 3 years’ professional experience in haemodialysis or equivalent experience in a specialised hospital environment, proven skills in clinical evaluation
- Diploma as specialist nurse or equivalent qualification or willingness to undertake the relevant training
- German or French with good knowledge of the other language, proficiency in common IT programmes and project management tools used in the hospital
- Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team and to bring people together and lead with a positive attitude
- Close collaboration with the department heads from medical and nursing staff, strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Independence, sense of responsibility and solid professional appearance, dynamic, constructive and innovative attitude, openness to change
