Your Role
We are seeking a PYP Visual Arts Teacher (100%) to join our Primary School from August 2026.
This role is ideal for a creative and collaborative educator passionate about inspiring young learners through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
The Visual Arts Teacher nurtures creativity, self-expression, and curiosity in students aged 3–12 and plays an important role in supporting their holistic development through inquiry and artistic exploration.
An interest in teaching occasional Middle School art classes and supporting vertical curriculum alignment is considered an asset.
What makes you our ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification in Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ recent Primary or Elementary teaching experience, ideally in an IB PYP setting in International School.
- Experience or strong interest in teaching across all grades in the Primary School.
- Knowledge of inquiry-based learning approach and the IB philosophy.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German an advantage.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and competence with educational technology.
- Valid Swiss work permit or eligibility to work in Switzerland is beneficial.
