The Human Resources Department has the primary mission of ensuring the development of the institution's human capital in view of organisational evolution. It constantly seeks to innovate, challenge and improve its practices while basing its strategy on the positive experience of employees. The HR policy of the HUG is based on the development of skills and career paths in line with institutional needs and focuses on taking into account the individual, work-life balance, and health and safety at work.
Within the HR Department, the Occupational Health Service's mission is to promote, improve and preserve the physical and mental health of all HUG employees by intervening in the medical, psychological and social fields.
Job Description
Within the Occupational Health Service and under the responsibility of the service management, you act as a resource person in managing sensitive professional situations.
You provide support to employees experiencing professional difficulties (conflicts, professional crises, burnout, mobbing situations, etc.) and advise hierarchies as well as human resources managers in managing complex situations with psychological or socio-professional components.
You also contribute to prevention actions and the implementation of institutional measures related to psychosocial risks and propose appropriate support or mediation measures adapted to the situations encountered.
You are responsible for directing employees to specialised structures or professionals when the situation requires specific follow-up.
Being able to work in a network, you collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team composed of occupational physicians, occupational health nurses, occupational psychologists and other professionals involved in occupational health, and participate in coordination meetings.
Through your actions and initiatives, you thus work to deploy prevention measures to promote attendance and preserve the health of HUG staff.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in psychology (clinical orientation) as well as a specialisation diploma (for example a MAS in psycho-traumatology) or a post-Master’s university degree (Doctorate for example) deemed equivalent by the competent authorities. Three years’ experience in supporting situations of suffering or conflict at work is desired.
You have a particular interest in occupational health issues as well as in the prevention of psychosocial risks and have experience working in a multidisciplinary team during which you have demonstrated your ease of contact.
Your knowledge of institutional environments allows you to work easily in interprofessional collaboration to propose coherent and adapted interventions. Your listening skills, discretion and analytical abilities are essential assets in understanding complex situations and supporting the people concerned.
You work in compliance with professional confidentiality and adopt an ethical stance.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
You embody the values of the HUG, while ensuring data confidentiality and performing your duties in compliance with institutional ethical standards.
